Be aware of the fact that the Spanish authorities charge a tax to pay on the rental income of 25%.

Most property owners do not declare rental income. In that case you should add to the above mentioned amounts the costs for the “imputed income tax” that will be charged at around 400-500 Euros for an average 2 bedroom apartment.
